Coachouse new slideouts

November 2002 — Coach House, Inc., has added a new twist to their very popular slide-out models. Available on both the 23-foot and 27-foot models, the improved slide-out is a new HWH hydraulic single-cylinder ram. Working with the best known hydraulics company in the RV industry, Coach House was able to develop a new generation slide-out which is more practical and much more usable than conventional units. This benefit allows owners to use their interior features, appliances, walkways, self-supporting systems, etc, without having to extend the slide-out room, something not common in today's slide-out models.

"We found that most RVs did not provide adequate usable space when the slide-outs were closed. Large interior walls, bulky partitions, restricted viewing, etc. rendered the RV interior useless unless the slide-outs were open. This new design has many added benefits: It is usable with the slide-out closed; it provides additional floor space when open; it uses state-of-the-art HWH hydraulics, which are extremely dependable; and not only provides a comfortable sofa for daytime sitting, but transforms at the touch of a button to a huge double bed for sleeping.
